- FEATURE
- TB-EN type brake is excited by connecting DC to the stationary magnetic pole. When rotor starts rotating, eddy current is generated and braking torque is produced on surface of drum. This torque proportional to the value of exciting current and rotor rotating speed. However, braking torque has a characterstic of saturation when exciting current of rotating speed increases. Stable and low-speed operation can be made under light load and even under a minus load.
