- FEATURE
- These types of magnets are used for handling strip coils. In the up-end handling type, the coil is lifted by the magnet with the vertical coil axis.
A special type of magnet is also available for use with the open coil annealing process.
In this process, the tight coil is allowed to open out so that there is clearence between the turns of the coil, into which high temperature gas is passed to perform even annealing.

(1) The up-end handling type magnets are used for transporting tight & open strip coil.
In these types, the coils are lifted by the magnet with the coil axis vertical.
(2) Theses are used for loading and unloading in the annealing furnace.
